Ahhhhh....the "lets keep those male viewers glued to the couch" esthetic of season one.  Hardly the most gratuitous scene from this episode.  That honor would have to go to the tumble down the lawn with Christine Belford (or her stand in).  Made absolutely no sense beyond it's ability to bulge my eyes out of their sockets.  She can lift up a 40's car, why is she having such a hard time with this skinny white woman?  ABC used the show like a secret weapon, moving it around in the schedule to knock out the competition on any given night.
