Season 1 by RichVilliano Season 1 by RichVilliano
Been meaning to create a season one version of the character for some time. There's a lot of WWII props and settings available so doing a period correct story wouldn't be a problem.
The key here was the bullet brassier from the ABC show. The belt is taller and the shorts of course are a more conservative cut. The base for the costume is "The simple one piece" by Blurbur available at ShareCg. Her face is a little fuller in this render and I tried a few other tweeks to give her a more youthful look.

Thanks for looking....

My God! His art is amazing, very impressive! I only became aware in August 2013 that page and respectively of their art! You made my fantasies into reality. I wonder, by the way of humbly asking if you could play a scene with Wonder Woman in the cartoon Superfriends, that way. It's the episode called "The Beasts are Coming." It's a shocking scene, but at the same time exciting: She is in the middle of the desert in Death Valley, standing with legs apart (similar to your picture), with arms high around the head, hands touching his forehead as she feels pain while losing consciousness for being affected by radiation from a malfunctioning satellite. I have a DVD capturing this scene, for you to draw. I would love to see this scene in 3D with this wonderful art. Shapely legs, perfect hips, big butt and face desperate to be affected by radiation! I'ma fan of yours. I could not post a picture, but if you allow me, I put a link to this scene. PLEASE realize this dream of mine! See Wonder Woman's classic uniform with the first season of Lynda Carter, playing this shocking scene! Thank you for your attention and continued success!

It's a pretty faithful rendering of the WWII-era Wondie. You got the Lynda Carter look done, the hairstyle and costume are pretty faithful to Season I. The shorts are more conservative with this era, true, which you have mostly accurate. The leg openings are slightly higher on this model; they were high-waisted and very full-cut briefs in Season I, which is my preferred style for the iconic costume. Well done.

Really cool!!I like how you made the shorts darker and cut a little bit higher and raised the belt more level. The shows bottoms at the time `76 looked TOO much like granny panties!
I`m glad they made a better cut to it in the 2nd season but it would`ve been much hotter if it was dark blue!
I like yourimprovement though!
2 Thumbs up!

Congratulations on the excellent costume. The eagle looks excellent and the recreation of the character is the best I've seen.

By the way, I was surprised to see you used that swimsuit as base. That's something I did quite some time ago (the name Blurbur was taken here, unfortunately). Never expected to see it put to such a great use ;)

Sorry about the modern cut, however (it looked pretty conservative in the one-piece though, at least compared to modern ones).

Outstanding work on the mesh. You probably couldn't have made the cut of the shorts any more conservative for V4. If it was brought down any further it would be into the crease in her leg mesh and would likely distort a lot in any kind of pose beyond straight legs. What you have here would be just about right for a season 3 outfit, but I used the V4 bodysuit for that costume. Gratifying to here from you thanks a lot for your endorsement:)

Hey, thanks!

As you said, those creases are terrible and it probably would bent with the leg. To be honest, I didn't continue with my cloth creation experiments because getting clothes to work right is a nightmare :(

Excellent version of WW. You really captured her, and out of just about all of the many versions of her costume, YOU NAILED IT PERFECTLY!

This is a very nice render.

But seriously, back then no really seemed to know how to make a proper comic book adaptation.

And thanks for submitting this to In The Panels.

Oh, when I read the title Season 1, I thought that you were referring to the 70's show.

Or was that a movie.

This is exactly the kind of Wonder Woman I enjoy, the sexy smiling ambassador to man's world! Not the Xeena or Trinity form Matrix knockoff DC has been shoving down our throats because they think we just wanna see her punching stuff and acting generally emo when not punching stuff

Great job!

Goes back to the original character I guess. The 1940's comics had a carnival like feeling about them, she's a character that has a limit on gravitas. I think that's why hollywood is having trouble with her. They want to turn her into a female version of Batman....

Thanks for the remarks;)

Overall, this looks great, particularly the eagle on her chest.

One minor suggestion: Lynda Carter's hair seemed to be more brown than black in the first season.

V4 is over-endowed that way, but you can't widen her hips like Lynda's.

The show costume was cut even more conservatively, and the blue a bit closer to cyan or at least a fair bit lighter.

But for a Poser adaptation, pure hotness...

I know what you mean about the heels. The overall look of the boot is more season 1 than the boot I use on the season 3 character. But a thicker heel would be better. Thanks for your remarks.
